  34. POVfront is a desktop-based front end for the Persistence of Vision
  35. public domain ray-tracer. It provides a convenient WIMP interface to the
  36. package, and allows control of all the main features of it. POVfront is
  37. freeware. It will run on any Acorn machine running RISC OS, although it
  38. has only been tested on RISC OS 3.1. There are no minimum memory
  39. requirements, but the POV ray tracer itself probably needs at least 2MB.

  41. This release is version 1.20. It is designed to support the RISC OS port
  42. of POV on HENSA (a235) at the time of writing, and replaces the now-obsolete
  43. previous release (version 1.14).
